Trusts and Estates
Haemaru strives to achieve the most beneficial result for clients in cases involving wills, gifts, confirmation of inheritance, division of inheritance, claim of inheritance recovery, and legal reserve of inheritance. In particular, for clients that owe a large tax on their inheritance, we offer the most appropriate solution, including limited approval, waiver, and bankruptcy filing for inheritance.
Adult Guardianship
An adult guardian is a person who has the legal authority (and the corresponding duty) to care for the personal and property interests of another person, called a ward. Usually, a person has the status of guardian because the ward is incapable of caring for his or her own interests due to incapacity. Haemaru provides comprehensive legal services for adult guardians, including signing a guardianship contract, applying for adult, limited, or specific guardianship, and requesting and receiving court orders for the disposition of a particular guardian.
Juvenile Delinquency
The heavy burden of academic work, excessive competition for entrance exams, and the harmful environment outside schools are leading to an increase in juvenile delinquency. On top of the difficulty for parents who see their minor child being questioned by the investigating agencies or have a juvenile protection case in progress, it is extremely difficult to receive proper legal advice due to the radical differences between the general criminal procedures for adults and the juvenile criminal system. Haemaru aims to provide the best legal support with the child’s betterment and future in mind, in matters ranging from cases before Regional Committees for Countermeasures against School Violence to juvenile delinquency cases.
Paternity suits and Family Registrations
Haemaru provides assistance with all matters related to inconsistencies between the family registry and actual facts concerning a parent-child relationship. The remedies include denial of paternity, confirmation of paternity, and filing paternity suits. We also conduct litigation relating to the family registry, such as modifying family names and origins, name changes, and more.
